Floor slip-resistance testing, to spec.
We measure how much grip your floors really have — wet and dry, by pendulum and surface roughness — and issue a UKAS-accredited report. Here’s the service, in full.

Methods
Two HSE-recognised tests
The pendulum measures grip directly; surface roughness (Rz) tracks how a floor changes over time and matters most in contaminated areas. We’re accredited for both.
| PTV | Slip risk |
|---|---|
| 0–24 | High |
| 25–35 | Moderate |
| 36 + | Low |
36+ is the HSE low-risk threshold.
| Rz | Slip risk |
|---|---|
| < 10 | High |
| 10–20 | Moderate |
| > 20 | Low |
Microns; Rz under 20 should be managed.
